How much does it cost to build with Living Space?
Price is dependant on the complexity of your project. General rule of thumb, a fine finish turn key custom home, excluding land and utility connections is priced at around $180 per square foot. Since all of our homes are custom, the level of finish and specific design of each project will very. All of our pricing is stated up-front and we work with you to accommodate your budget.

How long does it take to build a custom home with Living Space?
Depending on the complexity of your custom home design it takes approximately 6-8+ months from the moment we first break the ground on your project.
I’m very busy. How much time will I need to dedicate to the process?

We automate the process, working around your schedule and availability to only seek approvals at critical stages that need your attention.
Does Living Space only build modern homes?
No. Some of our clients appreciate modern building technologies, but prefer a more traditional feel. We can accommodate your individual preferences.
What does Living Space need at our first meeting?
You should have an estimate of the budget range for the project. Getting a loan pre-approval is a good way of estimating this.
Does Living Space have a square footage minimum in order to build?
No, but please note that smaller homes carry a nominal up-charge due to inherent costs of such construction.
Can I bring my own architectural plan?
Living Space is happy to work with your plans or your architect. Out-of-state plans or international plans are subject to approval by our architectural team and are checked for code compliance which carries an additional fee.
What if I don’t have property to build on?
Our real-estate team is here to assist you in locating property based on your preferences and requirements. While a Realtor is locating your lot, Living Space is working with you to zero in on the perfect design for your new custom home.
Does Living Space provide financing?
Living Space works with multiple proven financial institutions which specialize in construction loan lending. We can coordinate and schedule meetings between you and the representatives for your convenience.
Will the price change during construction?
Only if you decide to add features or change elements of your home design during construction. We have eliminated other cost overruns. What you see upfront is what you pay at the end, not a penny more. This simplicity let’s you control costs and stay within your budget to the end.
How do I narrow in on my perfect design?
With a help and guidance of our architect and a design team. Living Space features an extensive visual database to help you narrow down your choices based on what you see and like. We also conduct an in-depth interview and create a custom profile in order to give you the most tailored home experience possible.
Do you build green homes?
Yes, Living Space was founded on principles of green building & design. We implement proven green building technologies that reduce energy costs and create healthier indoor air quality in every home. Passive solar design, Geo-Thermal heating & cooling, LED lighting, Low-VOC paints and finishes, HRVs or ICF construction are all available.
